Hailey Bieber Slams People 'Who Are Trying to Downplay the Severity of Lyme Disease'

Justin Bieber's wife, Hailey Bieber, has come to his defence once again, this time shaming haters for downplaying his recent diagnosis of Lyme disease.
 
Hailey took to Twitter yesterday (January 8), after the Biebs revealed his battle with the disease, and criticized people for "trying to downplay the severity of Lyme disease."
 
"Please do your research and listen to the stories of people who have suffered with it for years," she wrote. "Making fun of and belittling a disease you don't understand is never the way, all it takes is educating yourself."
 
She went on to thank Bella and Gigi Hadid and their mom Yolanda for sharing information with her; Bella and Yolanda both have the disease.
 
Hailey also thanked Avril Lavigne for her continuing effort to educate the public about Lyme disease. She revealed that she was diagnosed back in 2014.

Today @JustinBieber shared that he has Lyme disease. There are too many people that have this debilitating disease! People I love and care about and many friends and fans I have crossed paths with.
