Antony and the Johnsons to Release Swanlights EP

Antony and the Johnsons to Release Swanlights EP
If you were itching for some more elegant chamber pop from Antony and the Johnsons, then you're about to get some good news: The troupe are set to release a new EP. Following up last fall's Swanlights album is a new release that celebrates the album's title track.

A post on label website Secretly Canadian explains that the Swanlights EP will be released this April. A ten-inch vinyl version of the record is set to be released in time for Record Store Day (April 16), while the digital release will be loosed May 2. A CD version is also forthcoming.

While the focus is on "Swanlights," the EP also features a remix of the cut by synth/drone hero Oneohtrix Point Never, as well as two exclusive B-sides. It's also reported that singer Antony Hegarty's sister Sara directed a video for "Swanlights." You can see a live performance of the song below.

Hegarty has described the concept behind Swanlights as "the reflection of light on the surface of the water at night and the moment when a spirit jumps out of a body and turns into a violet ghost."

1. "Swanlights"
2. "Find The Rhythm of Your Love"
3. "Kissing Noone"
4. "Swanlights (OPN Edit)"
